I
attended my first big pin event called "Pindemonium" in November
2002, which was a 3 day pin event at Newport Beach, Hollywood and LA.
It had an event shot glass, 3 piece puzzle pin (one piece from each of the 3
Cafe's), a snow leopard event pin and a snow leopard event bear. The
was a silent auction to raise money to adopt a snow leopard from the San
Diego Zoo. I had alot of fun meeting some of the pin collectors and
traveling to 6 different cafe's with my friend Paul! Here are some
pictures of my excursion ;)

Here I am standing outside the Newport
Beach Cafe. This was one of the 3 Cafe's that participated
in the Pindemonium event in Nov. 2002 and we got piece #1 of the 3
piece event puzzle pin.
Here is the Hollywood Cafe located in Universal
Studio's. This is one of the biggest Cafe's with 2 stories
and one of my favorite cafe's. This was the 2nd Cafe that
participated in the Pindemonium event - this is also the
"main" event where all the event merchandise was
sold. The merchandise included piece #2 of the 3 piece event
puzzle pin, snow leopard event pin, snow leopard event bear and
the frosted Pindemonium shot glass.
This is the Los Angeles Cafe - this is
the 3rd Cafe that participated in the Pindemonium event and also
sold the 3rd and final piece of the 3 piece event puzzle
pin.
We decided that visiting the 3 Cafe's that participated in the
event just wasn't enough.....so, Paul and I decided to take a
little road trip and we ended up going to 3 more Cafe's!

the La Jolla Cafe. This was a very nice Cafe and not very
far away from the San Diego Cafe!
And last but not least, the last stop on our road trip.......the
Tijuana, Mexico Cafe!! Yes, we were crazy enough to drive
into Mexico just to go to the Cafe and what an experience that
was! Miguel the GM and the staff were super nice to
us! This Cafe makes it my 23rd Cafe that I have visited :)
