A Shot at the Finish Line - Louisville - Saturday
June 3rd, 2006
After the great time we all had in Indianapolis, we all headed to
Louisville for the 2nd
official part of our event. This was my second visit, I was at the
Grand Opening of this cafe in May,2004. We had our own space
reserved for us on the upper level & we had our own servers who took care
of everyone's needs. Stephanie Marshall from the Louisville Cafe did
a great job overseeing things & her fiancé, Jon Bridges, did a great
job as a shot model....lol. We had a charity raffle/auction that benefited
the Kentucky School for the Blind. Between the raffle, auction & a
pin breakfast held the next morning, we
raised $1800.00 - GREAT job everyone! Without the generous donations
of items from collectors, Cafe's & Corporate along with the generous
bidders & raffle ticket buyers we had this would have never been possible
without any of you! On another note, our Pre-Party
host and friend to all, Dick Pruden, proposed to his girlfriend, Anita, at
the Louisville Cafe in front of all of his shot collector friends!
Oh yeah, and she said yes!! :)
